The Habasa website currently uses the first-party preference cookie habasa_locale to remember the website language selected by the visitor or detected from the browser. Its value is limited to one of the supported locale codes, such as en, tr or ar, and is used only to provide the preferred language experience.

The language-preference cookie is used to direct visitors to an available English, Turkish or Arabic version based on browser preference and to remember a language explicitly selected from the website language switcher. It is not used for analytics, advertising or user profiling.

External services linked from the website, such as WhatsApp, operate under their own privacy and storage practices once a visitor leaves or interacts with those services.

Visitors can change the website language at any time using the language switcher. They can also delete or block the preference cookie through their browser settings. If the cookie is removed, the website may detect the browser language again on a later visit to the root address.

This policy should be updated whenever the website introduces analytics, consent tools, additional preference storage or other technologies that materially change how browser data is used.
